Yes — and I’d love that.

As a proud owner of a chocolate lab mix rescue pup, I completely understand that dogs are part of the family. Including your furry friend in your portraits can add so much heart and personality to your images. I’ve worked with many families and seniors who brought their dogs along, and those moments often become some of the most cherished.
That said, a little planning goes a long way to make sure your session runs smoothly — for both humans and pups.
🐾 Tips for including your dog in your session:
- Friendly pups only, please. Your dog should be comfortable around new people and other animals, especially since our locations may have other guests walking their dogs nearby.
- Bring the essentials. Pack their favorite treats, a squeaky toy, and maybe a water bowl. These help us get their attention and keep them happy throughout the session.
- Have a handler. I recommend bringing a friend or extended family member to help with your pup. Since we may not include the dog in every photo, it’s helpful to have someone who can take them for a walk or keep them relaxed nearby.
- Skip the car wait. I’m not a fan of leaving dogs alone in the car during sessions. If we’re planning multiple locations, we can start at your home with your pup and then head to a park while they stay comfortably behind.

Including your dog in your portraits should feel joyful and easy — just like the rest of your session. If you’re thinking about bringing your pup, let me know during our planning call and we’ll make sure everything is set up for a smooth experience.
